Rehersal for Presentation!

Wednesday night students practiced presenting their class skit infront of fellow students. They received feedback and spend the remainder of the night practicing, practicing, and practicing for Thursday's true presentation.

Public Relations Team Update

On the week, we made fliers. We drawing bees on the flier and we wrote short sentence. There is 8 sentense and we put this flier in dormitory and cafataria.

Campaign Promotion Team Update

We made script about save the bees. This script will be used for our final performance on Thursday.

Here is our scipt:  Class 9 Skit for Save the Bees!
Hae Wan:
Hello Everyone! We are class 9 and today we’re going to have a gameshow about our class campaign “Save the Bees!”.

Yu-Ri:
Do you know why bees are decreasing? Hopefully by the time this gameshow is over, you’ll have a better idea on why bees are important and ways you can help save them.

Hae Wan:
Now let us explain how to play the game. First, one person from each team will come up and answer a question. And the first person to get it right, their team gets to provide the rest of the answers.

Yu-Ri:
Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins! We have two teams playing tonight, the First is the Honeybee Team!
Honeybee Team Cheers
And the second is the Bumblebee Team!
Bumblebee Team Cheers

Hae Wan:
Now we’re going to call up a member from each team. Will they please come forward.
Both team members come forward on stage and stand next to table
First question: What do bees do?
Both team members hit the table at the same time.
Yes, Honeybee?

Do-Yi:
Eat dumplings?

Hae Wan:
Incorrect. Bumblebee?

Se Hyeon:
Pollenate Flowers!

Hae Wan:
That is correct!
Walks over to Bumblebee Team
Okay Bumblebee team. What are the remaining 5 answers to what do bees do?

Kim Hee Tae:
Make Honey!

Lim Gye Won:
Make fruits and Vegetables!

Seo Jim:
 Fly!

Si Youn:
 Sting!

Sung Ryul:
Make royal jelly!

Hae Wan:
 That is correct. 80% of flowering crops and 1/3 of everything we eat is made by bees. Bumblebee team, 1 point
Walks back to center stage

Yu-Ri:
Bumblebee and Honeybee team, please send another team mate to the middle of the stage

Second question: Why are bees decreasing?

Doe Hyung:
They drink too much alcohol?

Yu-Ri:
Incorrect. Honeybee?

Se-Hyeon:
Many people killing!

Hae Wan:
That is correct!
Walks over to Honeybee Team
Okay Honeybee team. What are the remaining 5 answers to why are bees decreasing?

Choi Hey Young:
Global Warming!

Tae-Woo:
Pesticides!

Ye Seul:
Habitat loss!

Woo-Jin:
Colony collapse!

Hye Bin:
Parasites!

Yu-Ri: That is correct. Since 1947 there has been a 60% reduction in bees. Without bees we would not have cotton, tea, or coffee. Honeybee team, 1 point.
So Honeybee Team has 1 point

Hae Wan:
Can I have a team member from both teams come out.

Our tie breaker question is, what did class 9 do for raising awareness about saving the bees?

Se Hyeon:
We did chalk art, posted a movie to youtube, and made a blog

Do-Yi:
We also created fliers, posters and bracelets.

Hae Wan & Yu-Ri:

This week we made a script, shot a video an posted our video to youtube.

Art and Design Team Update

Hi we are Art & disign team for Save the Bees and we have done many things for this week.

Firstly, we created a paper poster that was hung up on the school campus.

Secondly, we made a digital poster that will be used in our final performance. On the poster, we included all of the students class faces.

Thirdly, we created our wear it promotion about saving the bees.

Chalk Art!

This week Class 9 spread awareness about Saving the Bees through a Chalk Art activity that allowed each task for team to design their own pubic display and splash it across the GLPS campus walk ways. Art and Design Campaign Task Force Team Introduction

Hello we are Art and Design team of Class 9.We will design and draw for campaign "Save the Bees". Our team's leader is Kim Seo Jin and she will lead and check for our team. Our writer is Chae Woo Jin and he will write speeches and other things for us. Researcher is Kim Hye Tae and he will research important information. And blogger is Seo Ye Seol and she will blog our posters and pictures in this page. Our team's responsible is for creating and designing posters, and we will also make props and costumes for the performance/presentation.

We are campaign task force for media information and promotion. Sung-Ryul Kim is the leader, his role is assist with creating a social media tool. Se-Hyeon-jung is the researcher, his role is create a Facebook page or a You Tube channel if he wants to post videos. Do-Yi Kim is the writer who will help provide a script for a media video, team introduction, and a share on her social media choice. Doe-Hyung Lee is the blogger and his role is post online information for the group and provide a link to a social media page.
